BOOKFor very small prices, Résidence Josephines provides you a flat of 40sqm, with lovely decoration, very clean, and all services (free wifi very quick, cleaning, etc...), and you are in the city center of Rueil. It is very quiet also, in a lovely old building. This time was for a business trip. I'll come back with my family.
Agnieszka was very professionel and friendly person who greeted us personally and showed us around. The flat has two separate bedrooms with doors, so that you can truly bring your kids to bed and sit in the kitchen with a glass of wine longer. The area is a very quiet residential street with a cute boulangerie just a 5 min walk away.
We stayed for a week at the Residence, which is just a few minutes from a lot of wonderful historic sites and historic city center. This location allowed us to take a walk every morning and enjoy the traditional athmosphere of the "Rueil village". The location is close to numerous busses and the subway, allowing to go to Paris within 20 minutes. There are a lot of parks and green areas very near that are lovely. Our rooms, on the 1st floor were with a clear and nice view over trees and green landscape. The apartment had a master bedroom , cable tv and wi-fi, and a kitchen with adequate supples so we could do some cooking. Most impressive were the staff. They were professional and efficient, but friendly. We has a issue with the plane and they gave us good contacts and hints to help us. We highly recommend the Residence Les Josephines for anyone.
It was very clean. All utensils were available. The owner was amazing and fixed 2 issues we had while there immediately. I would definitely stay here again.
The host and room was spot on, knowing that we were 2 people we got an upgrade to a larger room. Fantastic experience
I read the review of this hotel on Trip Advisor and later visited it. My stay at the hotel was very good and comfortable. I would also recommend this hotel to my friends. My friends also visited theis hotel and their experience was also very good.
Squeaking clean, has all the basic things needed for cozy living. Comfortable bed, quiet street, great running course nearby. Grocery stores in about 10m walking distance.
I discovered Les Résidences Joséphines here on TripAdvisor and they seemed perfect for my needs: a short stay in Paris to see clients and then a weekend full of festivities for my godson’s baptism in Rueil Malmaison. I was not disappointed. The owners/managers are extremely accommodating and flexible. I arrived to a spotless studio, where the cleaning lady was waiting to give me the key. My studio (on the 1st floor, 9 rue du 4 septembre) was tastefully furnished and equipped with almost everything you need. The WiFi connection worked immediately and was strong, fast and secured. When I realized there wasn’t a hair dryer, I contacted the owner, who arranged for one to be left outside the studio door. This kind of service is rare in France! This particular studio enjoys an excellent location, right in the heart of the charming centre of Rueil. There’s a bus stop not even 2 minutes away to take you to the RER station to get to Paris. All in all, this was a fantastic experience. There are a few things that could be improved however: one of the instruments on the electricity meter panel goes bezerk from time to time and makes an extremely loud clacking noise that sounds like someone pounding on the door. It only lasts a minute or so, but even with earplugs in, it woke me up a couple of times over the course of the 5 days. Also, for longer stays, a washing machine to do laundry would be a nice touch. Still, I have to commend les Résidences Joséphines, particularly for the cleanliness and general helpfulness/professionalism, as well as the price/quality ratio. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone needing to stay in Rueil Malmaison or doing business at La Défense. For tourists, the trip into Paris could get tiring after a while, so I would not necessarily recommend it for first-time visitors to this gorgeous city. However, for repeat visitors, why would you stay anywhere else? For one or two people, this is an extremely comfortable and affordable way to enjoy Paris and the surrounding area.
There is in fact a number of apartment houses under this name and the same management in Rueil-Malmaison on at least 3 different streets: Cites, 4 Septembre and George Sand. I spent a couple of weeks (a long business trip) in the later and rather liked it. The place is really close to the center of Rueil-Malmaison, yet in a quiet neighborhood (sleep quality 5/5! with external blinds). It's easy to catch a bus to get to the RER urban railway station - it's some 5 minutes to the bus stop, then some 10-5 mins by bus (unless during morning rush hours when you can take a walk and be at the station as fast as the bus), then again 15 mins to the center of Paris. The rooms are clean, have enough place for 2-3 persons, a kitchen annex and an adequately-sized bathroom with a shower. There are three of these in the house, plus one smaller room with a bathroom on the corridor (not shared with the other rooms, but you have leave your room anyway). From one of the rooms you'll be able to see the Eiffel Tower in the distance - if you lean out of the window.
